Skin concern
Acne scarring & texture
Can anything be done about the marks left behind?
Indentation, uneven texture and enlarged pores, and what genuinely improves them.
Once acne has settled, what remains is usually two separate things: brown or red marks, which fade on their own, and real indentation, which doesn’t.
The first needs patience. The second needs collagen induction, and it does respond.

What causes acne scarring & texture?
- Collagen loss during healing
Inflammation destroys collagen. When it heals unevenly, the surface is left depressed: rolling, boxcar or icepick, depending on the shape.
- Post-inflammatory marks
Flat brown or red patches with no indentation. These are pigment rather than scar, and they fade. Faster with treatment and SPF.
What I would do about it
Microneedling is the mainstay. For scarring, it’s one of the few treatments in this field with a genuinely strong evidence base. A course of three to six, four weeks apart.
The Green Sea Peel where texture and congestion appear together.
Honest expectations. Meaningful improvement, not erasure. I’d rather say so now than have you six sessions in, expecting something else.

What people have said
These were left by people who came to me with acne scarring. Their words, and their names, not mine.

“I came to Hanaà for acne scarring. She immediately made me feel at ease with what can be an embarrassing conversation. She recommended microneedling and the results have been incredible.”

“I can't recommend Hanaa enough! I've been seeing her for over a year for microneedling and facials. She honestly advises you on what your skin needs and what not to waste your money on.”

What will a facial not fix?
I’m a skincare specialist, not a doctor. What I do can improve the condition of the skin and how it behaves. It isn’t a medical treatment for acne scarring & texture. I’d rather be straight with you about that from the start.
Anything that bleeds, changes shape or colour, or won’t heal should be seen by a GP first. So should anything painful, spreading, or arriving alongside symptoms elsewhere in the body. Prescription medication and skin cancer screening sit outside what I do.
If I think you need referring, I’ll say so at the first appointment, and we’ll work out what’s worth doing here in the meantime.
